The thing is with FFP in League 1 is that although clubs can only spend 60% of their turnover on player wages any money gifted to the club by their owners can be counted as turnover.

It's just different in League 1. In the Championship the owner can prop up the club with cash injections up to a certain point in league 1 they can prop up the wage bill. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

It does to the extent that it controls debt being put on the club. The money has to be given to the club by the owner, it can't be loaned.
