Where did all the cars go last night?

    there were queues up and down pontefract road, up oakwell lane, up lambra road, kendry street, bala street. All the roads around the ground were gridlocked. The carpark was full to bursting and yet there were less than 11,000 in the ground.

    I'd love to know.... It took me 55 minutes from darfield to the old brewery in ponty rd..... Ridiculous

    obv i wasnt there but i guess folk had got used to leaving it as late as they can as there is never normally that much traffic, extra 2k on the gate all arriving at the same time meant gridlock

    That must have been it Ian. It was absolutely mental traffic wise last night. Worst I've seen it in ages. I stayed behind for a half hour and it still took me 30 mins to get to Gawber Road

    Traffic was awful last night. Parking too, my usual mid week parking area was crammed solid.
