Where did Richard Carrington end up?

    He always seemed a decent player who didn't get a chance in 1st team. Didn't he win young player of year then get released a few years back and go to AFC. After that??? Why didn't he ever make it? Attitude?

    But could he play, yes! If he was so bad why did he win the award?
    A lot of good players have large egos but does that mean get shut and replace with a mediocre player?

    every club he's been at got rid, he left Barnsley,AFC, scanthorpe (SIC) same reasons, and yes boy could he play

    Completely different person but on same sort of subject. De Canio always came across as a complete muupet with an ego to suit. Yest listening to what everyone was saying about him on the soccer aid match, is he some sort of reformed character?
