When I was 11/ 12 it was the terrace, near the dugouts, then as I got older, Ponty end few barriers down from the draught hole! (Though when my dad came he preferred it on the open corner next to the Terrace).
Also remember mid 80s being able to transfer from Ponty round to Brewery Stand for 2nd half if we were kicking towards Kop. Happy days.

    For Me.........

I was stood bottom corner of the ponty end, up against the wall where we use to have the big Radio Sheffield adverisement. Before I moved to there due to the east stand being built, I stood reight at the back of the Ponty end in the corner where the corporate stuff is now at the opposite corner.

West Stand Terrace (Ponty Road End), then into Brewery at the away end , then Ponte End , East Stand Upper when Ponte End was being rebuilt , then back to the Ponte End where I remain to this day.

early on ponty but then we liked the old brewery just moved end to end at half time

we used to go on the Ponty me and my friends at first, but the Old Brewery stand right in the corner at either end had a good view was warm dry and snug. easier to swap ends at half time too

You used to be able to walk around the entire ground in the 70's pre Millwall/Leeds away fans scum when they locked the Spion Kop.

Started off in the west stand aged abart 5

moved to standing in the brewery side, moving from the corner of ponty to the cop depending which way we were kicking.

Adopted the ponty mid way, behind the nets in my teens, early twenties graduating to the south terrace before eventually settling in the east stand upper.

    Ponty End

Second pillar from the the side nearest the brewery stand.

The day they shut the Ponty and we had to sit in the new east stand was very sad.

    When i was a nipper......

My cousin took me into the Ponty, but we would also walk along to the Kop end of the Brewery Stand if we were attacking that way. Was the end of the stand called the Paddock? I then moved to the North Terrace to enjoy the banter amongst both groups of fans, not to mention the abusing of referees etc at full tim :D

    West, Brewery, Ponty...

Started off with my dad in the West Stand, near the old tunnel on the Ponty End side. One of the first things I remember from footie is the smell of Deep Heat coming off the players on cold weekday night games.
Then we switched to the Brewery stand, again on the Ponty side.
Then I started going with my mates and standing in the Ponty, pretty much bang in the middle (near that odd guy with specs and Mr Magicka hair who used to swing back and forth on the railing, anyone remember him?
Now, when I go (which isn't that often anymore, I know, not a proper supporter), sit with me dad East Lower, just past midway towards the away end (tho I keep wanting to try the Ponty again).

First match in Seats in West Stand, then Old Brewery as a nipper up to the building of the East Stand, moved to the West Stand whilst East Stand was built (better than watching mad mel's football) then to East SDtand Upper, then floated around for a bit East Stand Lower, North Stand and now finally in the Ponty End.
