I am going to keep a log of this pole and then at the end of the season we can all see where people thought we were going to get in the league. The winner of the competition* will win a Super Red Tykes selection pack of 4 signed replica photos of great players past and present (its your choice but you must have at least one Wayne Bullimore). A Hat Mask of your Choice. A ball from the Barnsley vs Wrexham game last season (fully inflated) and a Chris Morgan Lamp.

    Cheers for your interest

    How are we weaker ?

Chopra? ...Hayes, Howard and a fit Kell, id take these three players before Chopra any day.

We've still got the same squad. Just added afew more players. I think we will finish around 8th-10th. Promotion will only be achieved for me if Ritchie signs a solid centre half to partner Reid.

We'll start the season without Kell and Howard

And as good as Hayes may turn out to be, and I hope it's very good indeed, he's not going to be as good as Chopra was last season. I don't think anyone expects him to be. So, for the first month at least, until we get Kell and Howard back, I think the personnel will be weaker.

I agree, sounds like exactly the player we need

Never seen him play like, but the reports I've read about him have all been good. Trouble is, it could be December by the time we see him in a reds shirt and well into the new year before he's back up to 100%. The season could be over by then.

Personlly I've no idea how well we'll do next season. I'd be very surprised if we were challenging for one of the two automatic promotion positions. I'd be equally surprised if we were in the bottom 4. Anywhere in between is the most likely, but I couldn't say where.
