at the moment I really don't give a $hit about the whole thing ... I might get drawn in, but I always miss all the big matches with DJing, so a bit pointless

FIFA & FA are despicable organisations.

If I do watch it would only be to see Stones.

EDIT. Just realised im not at work for the Tuesday one. So I will be plonking my 20mth old at the side of me to watch it.

First two at home, probably miss the 3rd one due to being on holiday in Germany.

That's if I can be arsed to stay up for the Italy game.

Having people over for the first one its sort of a tradition. If it's typical dour uninteresting anti football England I will give the others a miss. If we play with some sort of attacking intent second one at the Leadmill and third at a mates house.

Haven't been down the Leadmill for years. Seen some legendary gigs there, mostly in 80's & 90's

I'm the opposite, very arsed about watching, not too fussed where. The first will probably just be at home, maybe the pub for the 3rd one. I'll hire the pub out for when we get to the final ;)

I try to get to 2/3 gigs a month there usually 1 I like I I've heard of but wanna hear live and one I've vaguely read about but know nowt about.

I went to sone heady gigs in the late80s and 90s myself. When I first started going Pulp were always 2nd support whoever was playing.

Aye, I saw them as support 3 or 4 times too. It was usually them or a band called "This Machine Kills", who used to have a lot of TVs on stage.

I'd forgotten about This Machine Kills. Never was a Woody Guthrie quote so badly abused...

    LOL - indeed!

Happy times. I see most stuff in Leeds or Manchester now, but wouldn't mind going to something at the Leadmill again. I think last time I was there was Sparklehorse & that must be about 10 years ago...

Someone told me yesterday that it starts next week, I didn't even know. Usually look forward to it but not that arsed this year as I suspect most of us aren't. I'll still probably watch most games, usually prefer watching teams I've never seen before and cheering the underdogs, no doubt the England games will be a huge disappointment again.
