Here we are - board riddled with conspiritory theories and our board "expert" on such things seems to be keeping a very low profile. is there a good reason for this I wonder. I think we should be told
Yes, there is a good reason - I'm too busy!!! Quite frankly though, I think the club has a huge chip on its shoulder at the moment. It's a pity they can't ignore us on here and simply get on with running the club as it should be run. The club seem to be going out of their way to make enemies, and seeing as we are the customers, it seems a strange way to run a business. I hope it doesn't backfire on them by people becoming as fed up as I have become.
Perhaps .. it might have something to do with the relentless and merciless baiting he got from other users of this board whenever he uttered anything, choose whatever it was. No one puts up with that indefinitely. In the end he keeps a low profile because he probably finds he has less and less in common with those who command the majority of the postings on this board. I notice he is still sought out for teccy advice though, which he is willing to give and is always gratefully received. Perhaps the fact that guests still outnumber registered users on here is further evidence of people's disenchantment with the BBS and all that goes on here. Just a thought - just a theory.

You gave as good as you got And it's not like you weren't fishing for it most of the time. Honest opinion here Rounders. Did you ever really feel intimidated? Did you ever think it was anything more than a bunch of numpties taking the piss? Did you ever think it would affect your life away from the BBS? What did you really think would happen if you bumped in to one of 'the hartog set' away from the board? Did you think you'd ge a smack or a drink bought for you? Compare that to some of the guest postings on here. You have suffered some of those yourself. I didn't want rid of you. Never did. When you want to play the fool, like you know you did, you'll get some banter back and you knew you would, but that's all it was. When you make serious postings you'll be left to it, as you are now. And don't tell me you didn't enjoy some of those days when the threads just kept going and going for hours. We'd lose whole days and I can honestly say I've never laughed as much in my life. There were times when I thought I was actually going to die from laughing.
