There cannot be any coaching manual anywhere on earth that tells you to :

Play your fast attacking winger in the middle up front

Leave your left back (who lacks pace anyway) without any cover without pulling your 2 centre backs out of position

Play your creative central midfielder on the wing ,rendering him ineffective

Pick a midfielder who didn't make it at his last clubs ( Colchester was one I think ) and apart from getting booked and giving away free kicks / and the ball a lot contributed nothing of value

Apart from a forced substitution of the captain ,allow the team to struggle for far too long even though losing 2 0, fighting a serious relegation battle and did NOTHING except move his butt from leaning against the dug out to sitting down .

This is what our manager/coach did today in Freya's humble opinion .

Maybe he has been reading the history books ,for example :

Horatio Nelson " I see no ships " or whoever said Crisis what crisis ?

Rip the books up Mr Davey and pick a team so that the players can play to their strengths .Make sure they know what is expected before they go out there against Brum and when you do send a substitute ,please, please brief them what their role is and ask them to tell the others what you have changed.

However bad we were today and however poor your tactical decisions, when Nariello pulled one back , we might have gone on to get another ,if you had briefed the subs/team what you wanted them to do .

Please get formation and tactics right on monday so that we can play with passion and fight .At least let s go into the last few games fighting. We rolled over when the 3 rd goal went in today.I can take losing , I can't accept not trying our best and spineless management and players.

If you haven't got the bottle or skills to do that Mr Davey then please throw a sickie .

    Get well soon .

    Freya
