Where the ball should be when taking a corner

    The ball only needs to overhang the quadrant, it doesn't have to be on the line.

    Just thought I'd clear that up because so many people around me don't know that rule.

    this is summat that always makes me laugh

    you see it god knows how many times in matches. the quadrant is a set size.... why the hell do players think that the extra few centimetres will make that much difference to the corner kick... now if FIFA were to address the place where a throw in is taken. I have seen a ball cross a line and then the throw has been managed to get taken 2 or 3 meters further up
