We got a Zafira a month or so ago and i read on internet that they are prone to getting knicked. Checked before every journey we go on before we set off now just in case. Be gutted to get a flat then realise spares gone!!! Other than a Vaux dealer though i wouldnt have a clue where to get one!!
Give up! Don't want to be paying those kind of prices. Was thinking more of a parts place .... after all, hopefully I'll never need to use it, and if I do I'll only use it to get me to the nearest garage.
Zafira.........tyre nicked.............isn't that the car that the little Pakistani kid advertises? There's a clue to where your tyre might be then (hidebehindsofa)
You say that you would only use it to get to a garage and I tihnk that it is a common problem having the spare stolen on zafira's so have you considered buying a can of tyre weld instead? Essentially it is expanding foam for your tyre that you spray into it if you get a puncture. The benefits are it's cheap at only a few quid, its really easy to use (stick it into the valve and press) so without wanting to sound sexist here it is ideal for a woman, its a lot quicker than changing a tyre at the side of the road so safer too and obviously it can't be stolen as you can keep it in the boot, glovebox, under seat etc, it can be used on two tyres if needs be while a spare obviously cant and is fine to get you to a garage or home. The drawbacks are that while it is fine with a puncture it can't deal with a big split or complete blow out of your tyre (for obvious reasons), the tyre cannot be repaired afterwards (not sure if you normaly repair punctured tyres anyway) and you'll need to get the tyre replaced fairly quickly after using it. ie its fine for a journey to the garage but dont go on a trip to cleethorpes before replacing the tyre.
Why on earth Vauxhall thought it would be a good idea... to put the spare wheel beneath the car is beyond me.
Scrappers or try Jacks Tyres at Burncross ? http://www.hawleystyres.co.uk/Jacks.html
cheap and they are next door to a scrapyard so might be able to help

That would be a shame After years of hard work getting it. Good holiday? Any injuries? Meet any interseting people from the East Midlands?
Thanks for letting the cat out of the bag. Which reminds me, I trust all your kitties are OK. By the way the Irish lady was nice but far too old for me at 42. She was also a very sedentary type of skier, in fact she spent most of the time standing about looking for the next mountain hut where she could sit and avoid the very activity for which she had paid loads of money to take part in.
