Calf strain. He's having a scan tomorrow. He was absolutely devastated to pull out apparently. But that's what can happen when players are left to rot for the best part of two years.
lad must be gutted. finally reclaims his spot, then gets forced out through injury. we're definitely still suffering from the hillcroft vendetta.
and bobby had brilliant games, against both leeds and bolton. would be the first name on my team sheet. well, second. luke steele would be the first. good to know daws can come in and do a job though, when bobby's unavailable.
I think Daws has been playing well through the Xmas games, but they bring something different to the team. I wouldn't say it was one or the other.
I'm not sure but hes not a replacement for Dawson thats for sure. Dawson can run with the ball for a start, good distances too.
I don't think anyone can argue that Bobby's earned a run in the team as holding midfielder given how well he played against Leeds & Bolton Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You're right, Dawson does run long distances with the ball...he's usually chasing it to take his second touch. Dawson's first touch is usually 5 yards away from him the opposite direction to where he should be going. By the time he's stopped running with it (instead of a nice quick pass), the opposition are all behind the ball ready to deal with our attack.
Sorry no way. Could hassell have ran the length of the pitch like he did against I think it was derby. He's a lot better than some of our fans make out
