Strange day for me on Satdi

Didnt go to the match............there was a big chance that the club would be relegated ......and I couldnt cope with watching that

So I sort of wandered abart - went to Tescos at Stairfoot for a bit of food shopping, then decided I should keep away from any television or computor because I'd only end up watching the match through them
So went for a drive and ended up parked at the top of the car park at Wentworth Garden Centre stareing at fields and Thorpe Hesley for 2 hours.
Timed the return home - as I put the tele on the first thing up was the Barnsley score...........big disappointment.........thats it we are relegated
Then a couple of seconds later the latest score for Palace. Then a few seconds later the final score.
Jumped abart a bit then ordered a taxi into TARN to meet and celebrate with the 4000+ coming back from Hudders
Got into TARN about 3:30.................but there was no foooker there!!!!!!!!!!!
Went round the boozers.........ended up supping abart a gallon...........and only saw a few TARN fans that I knew

I thought it would be a similar senario to when we went to Bramhole Lane a couple of seasons ago i.e. all the flags and singing on Market Hill
    But there were nowt happening
All the pubs, bar staff, in TARN were geared up ready to receive all the TARN supporters........and there were none

So where the foooking hell did 4000+ fans get to ???????????????

Anyway, it got to about 6 oclock and I jumped in a taxi to go and see Tina Tyke and Matti up Wombwell

........had a few more pints.......ended up int middle of the neet wit sick bucket at the side of the bed

    Point is....................where was everybody celebrating ??? !!!

At home in Russia. Toyed with the idea of flying back for the game but decided I couldnt justify the 500 notes the whole jaunt would have cost me, especially if we'd gone down. As it was I nearly wore a hole in the living room carpet pacing around, and probably frightened the neighbours to death for each of our goals and when Palace scored their winner! Then bawled like a kid when it had all sunk in.

    I went in Town
I went in to town and it got better as the night wore on.The best part for me was in the Chennels around 11.30.Somebody unfurled a massive Barnsley flag, the dj was playing footie related songs and loads were singing and dancing under the flag.Gino and the Belgium crew were in and the whole place had a great atmosphere.

No not any of us...if you saw a lad dressed as Batman,he was immediately behind me,although when we scored the second he fell over the seats into our row for a while.I've got a reasonable still shot from the FLS with us on,when I get chance I'll post it and see if you or any others on here can see yourselves.
