Looking at what the Barnsley fans who have entered my Prediction League have put down, there is a wide range of views on where you lot will finish next season. No-one has put that you'll finish any lower than 9th but do you reckon a play-off spot is realistic (or higher than that?) My mate has predicted you lot to win League One! As a Tranmere fan I'm obviously hoping its us that wins but I have my doubts if I'm being realistic!

If we win this league then it'll be a town hall steps/bare arse scenario for me. I think we'll improve on last year. It's imperative we make a good start, if we do, then I would hold out an outside chance of us finishing 6th. If not, then 10th-ish. tranmere top 2 imho. Battling with Bristol City.

I fear that with Bristol City and Forest in there we have our work cut out for top two to be honest! I can't see Barnsley finishing lower than 12th (ie top half) personally, but then you all know your side better than me!

Forest will struggle. Oldham won't be the all conquering team many on here are fearing. If our time in this league has taught us anything it should be that organisation, hard work and team spirit count much much more than a nice new squad of brand new players.

I think play offs are realistic . As always , consistancy is the key . Can Nardiello stay fit , can McPhail find the required level of application , can Howard provide the width, can the defence as a whole stop making glaring blunders , can we manage to hold onto a lead ?

RE: But Dirk What happened in that final season of his ? He admitted himself it was the strongest squad he'd had at Rotherham. Don't get me wrong, in MacIntosh and Liddle, he's signed 2 players I'd have loved to have seen at Oakwell, but we'll see..........
