Where would we be this season, if we could put those chances away?

It seems after every game, and I'm only taking this from the reports as I'm an Internet fan, we miss chance after chance. We have the most anemic strike force in the Championship, and not doing that well on keeping the ball out of our own net.

We don't make the most of our chances, but don't be fooled into thinking we create that many.

It's always the same when you lose

You rue the chances you've missed. The first dozen or so games last season everyone was talking about how many chances we were creating and how we'd be a force in the league if only we'd got someone better than Richards up front. Since then we've brought in: Leon Knight, Peter Rajczi, Istvan Ferenczi, Miguel Mostto, Kayode Odejayi, Kim Christensen, Jon Macken, Danny Nardiello and brought Michael Coulson in to the first team and non of the ******* have a better strike rate than Richards had.

Richards and Nardiello actually have exactly the same goal to game ratio.

    Overall in all competitions:

    Richards got 20 goals in 60 starts + 20 as substitute = 1 in 4

    Nardiello has 32 goals in 69 starts + 59 as substitute = 1 in 4

Lots of 10 or 15 minute subbie appearances in Nardy's stats though.
