I hope you all have safe journeys, enjoy the experience and get behind the team no matter what happens. We can concentrate on the league from Monday. Hopefully, there will be enough time for us all to be miserable about that and pull something out of the bag to assure us of safety in the division between now and the Cup final in May! Come on YOU REDS.
RE: Be careful and stay safe. nt Anyone else going tomorrow and they havent seen there ticket yet cos i havent
RE: Be careful and stay safe. nt I have five tickets, too much responsibility I can't wait to hand them out.
Did you watch Dr Who tonight? If so, what did you reckon to Catherine Tate? Also do you watch Torchwood? If so, what did you reckon to the last series?
Of course I watched Doctor Who. Catherine Tate/Donna has toned her act down a bit so wasn't as annoying as I expected her to be. I won't be as attached to her character as I got to Rose and Martha. Oh WOW! Rose on the first episode, now that was amazing. I think she will be the key feature that runs through this series. Yes I do/have watched Torchwood. I thought the last episode yesterday was fantastic but so sad. I'm going to miss Owen and Tosh but wonder if Martha and John will be back either full-time or for a few episodes - I'm assuming there will be a Torchwood series 3 seeing as the final words from Jack were "We've got to carry on". What did you think?
RE: Of course I watched Doctor Who. I agree that Catherine Tate wasn't as annoying as I thought she would be but I doubt if I'll ever warm to her properly. I'd also not give any thought to Rose being a running theme through this series but I think you might be onto something As far as Torchwood goes, I didn't think the last series was a patch on the first one. There were a few good episodes but I think the series as a whole lacked something, although I'm not sure what Also due to killing off 2 major characters this time around, I somehow think that the next series, assuming there'll be one, will be very poor.
I agree about Torchwood. As soon as it was decided that there would be a pre-watershed show then the programme had to be toned down, which did show in some of the plots. I think if there is a Torchwood series 3 it will be ok but some serious casting has to be done to boost it back up. As for Rose, since I heard she was coming back to Doctor Who for the final 3 episodes, I wondered if she would be a key feature in the programme but I only expected her to be mentioned not seen in the early epidodes.
