    2 nil down and had the best of the game really. They can still get sumert out of this game providing they can keep it tight at back.

    Was he at fault for any of the goals? The first he could maybe have done a bit more, not the other 2, full backs defended poorly.

    Slow, predictable, one-paced, unimaginative football all through the Euros from England. Wasn't impressed with them at Oakwell and unfortunately they haven't improved. This country seems to have abandoned any interest in creative flair and anesthetised the football youngsters play in favour of regimented, low risk, boring, safe style. There are so few players coming through who can dribble or showcase some great skill. Where's the next Joe Cole, or Gazza? Nowhere. Just a succession of players who either don't have creative ability or have it coached out of them. Ross Barkley is arguably an exception, but he hardly plays because he's dubbed a 'risk' when keeping the ball. There's nothing wrong with remembering the attributes that have traditionally made us successful. For me they are speed, strength and gusto. Yes we need to look at the technical side, but we're losing the traits that gave us an edge.
