(seestars) i hope your joking. I mean fair enough its annoying that our support isn't great because of these part time fans but would you really want 8000-9000 barnsley there for the chelsea game or yesterday? The chelsea game was one of the best atmosphere i've witnessed at Oakwell and was because of the not just the loyal supporters but also the part timers surely it helps the players.

Bloke in front of me yesterday was going berserk after they scored '**** you all, fecking part-timers' then walked out saying he's going home much to my amusement :D but then came back 5 minutes later.

Would you have preferred 8000-9000 there yesterday?

Yeh, I would. Most people won't agree, and yes it would be embarrassing but why should people who don't want to go through the lows, and the many of those, be their when there's the highs? Where will they be come wednesday night? I understand a lot of people can't make or are giving it a miss because of whatever, but how about next saturday at Preston, where will they be, how about at Oakwell v Hull on a tuesday night, where will they be? Sat at home watching the champions league no doubt.
