Which is the best museum (free) to take the kids to in London the day before Wembley? TIA

    dunno but think the main national ones are now free

    Avoid the victoria & albert unless you are interested in custume, jewelry, art...its OK but I fund it boring as ****
    National History museum is very good as is the science museum.
    The Imperial war museum is also meant to be very good but cannot comment as I have never been

    All national museums and galleries are free

    My favourites are the Natural History Museum, and the Tate Modern.

    but Science Museum has an IMAX, although costs to see film obviously.

    My daughter enjoyed the NHM more than the Science one. Either/ both is worth alook though.Next door to each other - we had a look at both in 3 hours - there's a limit to what they'll look at at 7. More interactive stuff in the Science Museum.
