cost of relegation?
Say gate receipts
Average this year to be 12,000
Next year 7,500 resonable ?
Average receipt £15 ?
Sums say 4,500 x 23 x £15 = over £1.5m
Obviously a guess, but stick your own figures in there and do the calculation.
That doesn't take account of any add ons.

We alll will get nowt They all have a track record of eaiting for a bosman and pocketing the cash themselves
I'm totally perplexed why Davey keeps our most improved player on the bench. Kay as been excellent this season, apart from the wednesday ****-up. If he dosn't get a start this week-end, his agent will be wheeling and dealing him a contract some where else. If he did go, he would be the player that would (hopefully) bring the biggest tranfer fee to us. But i and many fans would be in uproar if he decided to leave. (titanic)
Anyway, what financial loss with relegation? We were told by Shep that we weren't much better off financially by being in the Championship, and that was getting there by the play-offs, the most profitable route. So we shouldn't be much worse of when we get relegated, should we Gordon?
