    The Football League will hit clubs with a £5,000 fine if they do not field six of their most used players in every tie of the new Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

    can clubs just opt to not enter?

    thats what i would do. and it could lead to teams playing poorly on purpose. i.e not giving full commitment in order to save themselves

    if this is true

    it is ridiculous. if this is what the fa need to resort to then they should think about scrapping the competition.

    however this is the news of the world and we all know they are dick heads of the highest order and to not believe anything they say.
