    again so many to choose from, but i think i will have to say; Mike Sheron. i never liked that greedy ****, he was only ever at the club for the money. </p>

    because for his reported 10k a week, lack of goals per minutes on the pitch and costing 1.5 million, he was a BAD signing. We can put paying him silly wages down to our money problems in the past.

    Redfearn, Fjortoft, Barnard and others.
    Our money troubles started with other players, ie Sheron, Donovan etc

    Quality player, shed loads of potential...

    ...and never given a proper chance. Slandered by the national media who tried their best to upset our Premiership campaign and always more likely to disappoint due to the huge expectations we all had of him. If Basset and Hendrie (even Wilson to an extent, although he couldn't quite afford the time for him to settle) would have played him regularly instead of having him warm the bench he would have been banging 'em in.

    Top bloke, by all accounts, who loved the Town and would've liked to have stayed here...
