Which school as provided the most players to the club over the years????

    carrying on from best footballing school posts here.

    I went to Darfield Foulstone and they provided Antony Kay, Johnny Parkin, Craig Parry from what i can remember.

    i am sure there is a few more????

    they also provided David Brooke...

    although they wasted him.

    Shame he had a reight talent, and even scarbugger messed him about a bit I am led to believe.

    Packed in completely now....

    lift all my life at the top end....

    on ashwood grove until 4 years back...then moved a bit further round...

    live on high street now in between crown and WMC (opposite side of road)

    well bugger me (well not literally)....

    So you may know who I am then via my nickname...

    got to say, I have prob seen you about, but won't be able to put a face to you yet....

    Crown looks a right tit. shoes are probably mine from a sunday session before it closed, but then again, they could be anybodies. Maybe they belong to the same person who has "lost" a pair on norfolk road as well...

    With regards to Worsbrough High......

    Didn't Dave Wilkes' brother have a good spell in China in the mid 80's? I think he was on the Barnsley Boys' books for a while prior to that?
    I can recall John Schofield and Aggie clashing at a pre-season game at Oakwell when Lincoln were the visitors.

    Probably before you were born but Jimmy Greenhoff (Leeds, Stoke & Man United) also went to Holgate - he'll be about 59 or 60 now.

    and there was I thinking it was a knee injury that did for him

    but since when have facts got in the way of a story.

    He's playing non league these days
