    BBS FC and Wakefield Athletic at the moment

    Have also played for Walsingham in the Surrey league from 2000 to 2003, Coopers Arms, and Crofton in the Wakefield Snday league.

    Others would describe me as an angry full back.

    i got ardsley athletic back up and running in 1965. h.q. was the coach and horses at ardsley, then transferred to cross keys at stairfoot. i played for 3 seasons. we played our home games on wombwell lane about where the supermarket is now. happy days, played till 1972 in the sheffield sunday league till i smashed my kneecap in a match at woodhouse. the referee that sunday was none other than keith hackett, he ran the line on the saturday at the scnuthorpe v grimsby game, and reffed us on the sunday. i met up with him a few times after that when he came to penistone reffing penistone church games, a truly smashing bloke. deserved everything he got out the game. dead chuffed for him. ah well.
