To be honest it doesn't matter, I'm not ashamed to say that I will ignore it. Boris can do one

We’re in the second tier for now, but expect to be third tier sooner or later.

I guess that statement applies equally to both football and covid.

I don’t think we will go in tier 3 unless they get a football league ref making the decision then we’d be done for

Did he just say that everyone in tier 2 have got to close bars? And tier 3 is bars and gyms and basically anywhere apart from unis and care homes?

Tier two where you can meet another household but only outside in the freezing cold, not inside a pub or restaurant and not in a private house as the government don't trust us to be sensible around those we care about the most.

Most Unis are now fully distance-learning only. Although it was decided that they needed rent-paying students to keep them afloat financially while they study online.

Not that they have a clue what they are doing but ...
This would make me laugh if it wasnt actually true

Guess I am not seeing my parents for a while then if SY is in Tier2 - to drive 200 miles to stay out in the garden in November or December - no be able to see mum as she really is housebound - only look through the window , and drag my Dad who is well into his 80's out into the garden doesnt seem that viable
