Sheff U. one of the most inept "professionals" I have ever seen and he and Durso should have been struck off for their display that day. I seriosult questioned their integrity. one thing that not many people picked up on was a deliberate elbow by Jamesz Beattie smashed into Anderson's head. It was right in front of me in the West Stand and the linesman, yet he failed to do anything. I had a similar view of the "penalty" as him and I can categorically 100% state that there is no way on earth that someone could decide with complete accuracy that it hit Kozluks hand from that distance, let alone that he deliberately handballed it. The guy is a prize lovely person.
RE: Sheff U. The most galling thing for me about that episode is the fact that D'Urso would not review his decision - astounding arrogance/incompetence or dishonesty.
D,Urso and his linesman were bordering on corrupt that day; they should have been removed from the refereeing list but unfortunately the respect campaign only goes one way.
Hard to say But on the basis of those two decisions I reckon Rob Kozluk must have the unluckiest arms in football.
I was just thinking the same, when ferenczi scored in the last minute when we was about a mile onside
