    Its a fair enough opinion! I can't decide if I'd like to see them languish in the ale house for a few more seasons of if I'd rather have the derby fixtures and presumably added income for the club next season.

    It would be good if people stopped with the personal abuse when someone offers an alternative view - its killing this forum at times!

    For some reason it won't allow me to reply directly to site admin posts but I haven't abused Whitey at all. The added income would be minimal though due to the Blunts shocking away support.

    I honestly can't see how any Barnsley fan could give that club the time of day.

    Well said Gally its the awful attitude of many football supporters that is not only killing the forum, its killing the game football used to be a sport played and watched by sportsmen and women. Its change dramatically in my lifetime from a game where, if you lost you shook hands and wished your opponents well.

    We now have a game based on cheating, and hatred of your fellow competitors. Terms like "he won a penalty" is a term you will never hear in other sports like snooker or golf, even boxing where the idea is to beat the lovely personp out of your opponent, after the bout has ended a hug is the normal result.
