I got the desired response. But certainly it backfired somewhat. But tbf, it's hard work tackling a forum full of deedars with nobody to help.

I got some lovely abuse, then private messages, and now I'm being pleasant apparently.

I'm a very sad individual.

 

I looked at that and to be fair the lad at the end got it about right in my view; take your traditional rivals out of the equation and most fans only really care about teams they're about to play or teams they've just played. Supports what I think about Whitey tho' ;-)

The majority of people on here, and who I speak to, are quite realistic about who we are and our standing in the football world. We recognise how crap we have been for many years but we also recognise our rich history and the potential to reach a higher level. What's wrong with that?

If you're talking about the 'MASSIVE' thing then you really don't get it at all, which says more about your delusions than ours.

I had one intention - to see if they'd come across the question. They did, but why were they on those forums? They constantly tell me that they only visit Pork Talk and BluntsMad. And I knew that if they spotted them, they'd call me out, and I'd be able to laugh as they justified the massive thing etc. But of course, I was always leaving myself open to ridicule, and it did backfire a bit in certain ways. But it's banter, and unlike them, I prefer to argue my point (wrong or right) without resorting to name calling...
