He said after the Norwich match, that he would have taken three points against Norwich, over victory at Anfield. So which do you prefer? Three points in the league? Or all the press coverage we got from beating one of the most famous teams in the world (plus the revenue and Chelski draw)?
I'm astonished that so many people have chosen the Norwich game The Liverpool game was one of the greatest matches I've experienced in my life. In fact, it was one of the greatest days of my life. It was just ******* brilliant. For the rest of the evening I felt like I was walking on air. In fact, that feeling pretty much lasted all the next day, despite the hangover. Watching and rewatching the clip on Youtube with Matt Le Tissier was just such a joy. I'll remember that victory for the rest of my life, where as the Norwich result will be forgotten tomorrow if we beat QPR. Actually, it'll be pretty much forgotten whatever the result against QPR. I have absolutely no idea what some of you get out of supporting Barnsley, it certainly isn't the same as me, that's for sure.
RE: I'm astonished that so many people have chosen the Norwich game Too fecking right. Watched the MOTD highlights again today and keep watching the SSN clip nearly every day! I know I'm a sad barsteward but still
RE: I'm astonished that so many people have chosen the Norwich game It's ifs and buts. If we get relegated by 3 points do you think people will be saying - oh dont worry about it - we had a good day out at Liverpool? Your right, the Norwich game will pale into insignificance in the next couple of weeks - but could be extremely crucial come the end of the season. The hypothetical questions should be: Happy to beat Liverpool and have relegation or Happy to lose to Liverpool but stay up.
RE: I'm astonished that so many people have chosen the Norwich game We could beat Norwich, lose the rest of our games and go down. We could lose to Norwich, win the rest of our games and get in the playoffs. The Liverpool victory was a million times more important to me than the defeat at Norwich.
He's lying anyway. Who's really that bothered about the game when we got relegated against Norwich a few years ago? Who remembers the draw with Manchester United and then beating them in the cup? Bradford, Wembley, Cardiff, Anfield .....or Carrow Road last Saturday?
hmmm Liverpool will stick as a fantastic memory for life but what if we had won this .... If we go down this season, it won't be due to one game at Carrow Road, it'll be down to absolutely appalling away form all season long. I don't think winning or losing a one off cup match will have any bearing on it whatsoever. So Liverpool for me, I hope Davey isn't going to rely on hypothesis for the rest of the season. You can't barter imaginary points.
Blah blah blah.
Answer the question. What do you reckonis going tohappen to Simon Davey if we lose to Wednesday?
