With Whiteys manager poll restoring some faith that the majority of BFC fans aren't in fact morons. It got me thinking who are the boo boys? I'm presuming they're the ones who want Wilson out? But although I rarely physically see anyone booing where I sit, when the boo's start it often sounds like its the majority of the home crowd. Is it like on here, where the Wilson out brigade (who have been proven to be a small monitory) seem more prevalent than they actually are, purely because they're the most vocal on this board when form is poor. Or do the ones who do want Wilson to remain for the long haul boo as well, due to poor performance but not wanting the manager out? Ive never been a boo'er so I dont understand the mindset that triggers it. I can though confirm that those who do boo, look like cnuts when doing so.
I've booed. It takes a lot, but I've done it. I don't think it's such a minority anymore either. Half time, full time, it's very common in the game these days
I think he's underperformed so far and needs to get better, quickly. I'm not for sacking him though. Yet.
I don't boo I just walk out quietly, but would never condemn a paying punter for voicing his disapproval at a performance it's the *****s that don't go and get stuck in after a defeat that get my goat,
Personally, I've only ever booed the referee/linesmen when they have obviously got a major decision wrong against us. Never booed the team, there's no point.
Had no hesitation booing at Walsall on Saturday. Hadn't joined in with the "Wilson out" chants as I want to see how we get on with him at the helm for a full season, but after the 3rd goal went in with absolutely no attempt made to prevent it, I booed at the end with the rest. Have to admit though there was a fair few at the left of the away end, between 50-100, singing "Wilson out" and "You're not fit to wear the shirt" well before the 3rd goal, and even more at full time. Didn't agree with it (especially with the two academy lads on the pitch) but could totally understand the frustration.
personally I've never booed our players during a match in my life, maybe on the odd occasion briefly after the final whistle if it was a totally diabolical performance, usually I just drift out quietly at the end. Must say though I am often perplexed by the fans who stand and clap whatever, players are happy to take all the plaudits after good performances so I've no problem with fans displaying objections after the final whistle as long as it doesn't go OTT with personal abuse
