Most people put club success before country success....... http://blogs.notw.co.uk/sport/2008/06/ronnie-i-deserv.html
Club every time. I love Barnsley FC and will gladly throw my money at them to try to do my bit in helping them succeed, because it will give me more pleasure than anyhting else (family excepted) can to see them do well. I watch the England games on tv but would never spend money going to watch them and the results don't play on my mind. Wasn't fussed that they didn't qualify for the Euros.
Country ... no contest In my life (40+yrs) I have seen BFC in premiership, @ wembley (old/new), milleinum, every division.
I would love to see my country win something!

It's all in the body language, compare some of the ...... so called lesser teams that have shone in the Euros, in qualifying and at the the actual tournament, Turkey for example, they are not blessed with flair, yet, the passion they have for their country and love of wearing the shirt is staggering compared to the attitude of our lot.
