The Accrington manager (Coleman) has worked miracles. They had a sub-1000 crowd this season and could well be in League One next year. He has the advanrage of being based near Manchester, too, 'cos we like that. Northampton owe £10million and the administrator's knocking on the door. They're top, or second. Wilder wouldn't say no.
Didn't Coleman fail miserably at Rochdale, when he replaced uncle Keith? I don't think Mark Cooper would be a bad appointment, despite what some people are saying.
Chris Powell and Uwe Rosler are both good shouts. I've wanted Phil Brown since before we appointed Keith Hill and still do. More managers should drop down the leagues like he did to start again, rather than thinking it's below them. Done a great job at Southend and would probably love to come back north. If we have to wait then fair enough go back to Mark Burton until the end of the season with our aray of club legends helping him out.
Didn't Powell allegedly leave Charlton over discrepancies over lack of control of transfer policy? Not sure he'd be keen on the head coach role.. Would be an absolutely great manager though
Don't want Chris Powell anywhere near the club. Ask the Town fans what they thought of him! Boring negative football!
