I support Barnsley Football Club. I will always support Barnsley Football Club. I will always attend games where I can at BArnsley Football Club when I can regardless of opposition. I will still attend Barnsley Football Club's games regardless of manager becuase I support the team through the good times and the bad times. Anyone who says they will not attend nor give the club money while Davey is in charge are just as bad as the fair weather Wembley and anfield followers only 'supporting' the team when its a bit of an occassion.

people can still support the team without going to matches, or are you one of those "only real fans went to Luton" types...

    Sort of true

but it doesn't hurt to fire a few warning shots over the bow does it. A few threats about not renewing your season ticket. It's a sure-fire way of making the people in charge take notice. The voice of the supporters is their cash.

yes I'm in the minority I think but I'm not sure what good sacking SD would do, especially with regards as to who better we good get to come in.

I can see the arguement that the team we have now is considerably better than the one that got promoted and therefore is there a question of motivation and is that the responsibility of the manager? Then again it is the manager who has built the team in the first place.

at the moment I think I probably wouldn't sack him, we have played some good football this season and without some bad luck we would be somewhat higher in the league. This is a very tough league and at the moment it looks like we are going to stay in it (touch wood) at the expense of some apparently bigger teams.

Agreed. I would renew my season tickets regardless of the division we are in or who is the manager.

Did people protest and not renew under parkin or bodges or threaten to boycotte games, maybe the odd one but neever on the scale witnessed around barnsley at the moment. The over whelming majority are unhappy with the current manager but we dont support just the team but the entire club.

Lot's of people didn't renew under Parkin. Our season ticket sales and attendances dropped of massively.

Agree what you're saying though. I'm getting a season ticket next year. I would have got one had we gone down and I will get one whether Davey is manager or not.

    'overwhelming majority'

... on this board yes, in the ground where I sit debatable. I'm ambivilant towards Davey, he's kept us up but whether that's good enough is up to Mr Cryne.
