I think it is not just confidence with him If it was , surely scoring the way he did against Scunny and scoring against Chelsea would have given him enough confidence to see him through a life time.
I agree in part but he scored 15 goals last season a lot of them good. I dont hink he's quite up to it but I see something in him, he makes defenders **** themselves. If he could sort his finishing out then he would be a decent championship CF. I'ld keep him for next season but not as primary or secondary choice.
Tell you what If he don't score and we draw 0-0, I would LOVE IT (apologies to King Kev) a point tomorrow, and I reckon 1 win would then definitely do it 53 will stay up
RE: Dyer did not **** up as often as KO tho` Dyer scored his goals around contract renew time, only time he put anything into his game.
Jekyll and Hyde Striker Mike Sheron was the same, totally different types but zero one day, hero next, the zero again. I was talking to my mate at our 7 a side game the other week. I was saying we (40+ year old blokes) are fairly crap but consistent with it, and as is everyone we play with. How come professional footballers can veer from one extreme to another, when they have all the coaches / backup etc. IF KO could play like he did all the time (or close to it) as he did against Chelsea and Watford, he would be Prem class and possible England international?? At his worst, he couldn't get in our 7 a side team.
as KO likes to constantly prove us wrong, e.g. everyone sarts saying he's awful then he scores against chelsea, we people start believeing in him and he misses against cardiff ect i reckon he'll be piss poor tday
