Who Honestly thought we'd come back with something?

I didnt but I am gonna judge the team and Davey after D day on Monday. He has to sign at least 3 players. We know that and hopefully he does. We know with the current crop we are going down but we all know that Monday will be the busiest day for every single club in the English Leagues. I know that our recent results are really really poor and morale must be down. Now I aint stickin up for Davey and like most on the board, if results dont turn round in the next 2 games then yes he has to go. All I'm saying is that we need to see who he brings in and hopefully, we will see a better Barnsley team on tuesday night. Todays result is bad and I aint a happy fan but please wait till Monday night at 5PM and see if we look a stronger team. Like yourselves, I am fed up of the same excuses he comes out with and I sometimes wish I could go in the dressing room and give the players what for. I aint blowin smoke up his ass but Today people will be mad, upset and angry. Monday is gonna be a big day for the club and Tuesday an even bigger day. If he doesnt bring in the players, we will go down. If he brings in the players then I can see us staying up. No Bargains untested players Simon, We need proven players who are good enough to kick start us once again. I think the problem is that too many players feel comfortable in their positions at the minute as we have no one to challege them for positions due to injurie and a smallish squad. Get It together simon!!!

 

Would Help If Muller Could Keep A Clean Sheet Now And Again

He's not the only one to blame though. We need about 4-5 players if you ask me.

 

To be honest dont think that Muller is the same player since he was injured - maybe give Steele a go now?

 

yes dreamboy i agree, but we all know we aint gonna go up and buy a brand new 11. I still think its a confidence thing in the squad. We have a eleven that is capable on their day of beating anyone. Problem is that the squad doesnt believe it and that drops down to the manager. Im gonna give him the benefit of the doubt though and wait until after Deadline Day. We need to stay safe this season. There is no excuses this season like there was last season. Football is a results business and if any manager loses six on the trot, they have to go. Davey has lost 4 league games. Another two and he's a gonner. I hope he turns it round although if he keeps us safe this season, i dont think he is the man to take us forward. I hope im wrong i honestly do.

 

I would say we definetly need a goalscorer and a attacking midfielder by monday. But on current performances need a clear out in the summer of players that are not commited to the course. Not looking good for us at the moment but lets see if we get some hope by 5pm monday. Im not a happy barnsley fan at the moment but will always support my team. come on davey lets sign some quality and give competition for places.

 

like dreamboy says, we need about 5-6 players. Fact is that if we were to bring the players in, some have to go and i can only see about 3 players in on monday. If he only brings in Mifsud (although a good buy) it wont keep us up.
