    NOT NOKIA

Thats for sure - mines crap - keeps locking up and has no on off switch so you need to turn it off at the mains socket to reboot it.</p>

My Dad wants one for Xmas,

I assume that the TV transmitters all do digital, am I correct in this assumption?

    Almost true

But there are areas that the signal isnt good enough

if you put his postcode into here http://www.freeview.co.uk/

It will tell you what signal he will get (if its poor he may need an aerial upgrade)

Can't do much wrong with a cheapo Pacific from Asda. Bought 3 for various family members - impressive.

    Great,

I tried to get him to get SKY but asking him to pod out 40 quid plus on the Sports + Movies package didnt help me convince him.

I'll get a box and see what addons arrive on freeview.
