I finally got myself onto a height/weight/body fat measuring machine today and I'm feeling pretty proud of myself! In 4 weeks I have lost 4lbs in weight and shed almost 6% of my body fat (I told you it was embarrassingly bad!) My posture must have also improved as I'm now 1cm taller (barefoot) I have done zero extra cardio but I have been sticking almost religiously to the serving size suggestions on the outside of packets on food instead of just laughing at them. I have also been doing the free weights I have mentioned in previous posts. I'm having a big fat takeaway tonight to celebrate!! (Only joking!)
Loosing weight is an odd thing. I smoked 50 a day and then I decided to stop after 25 years of poisoning myself. Then over the next 12 months I lost 2.5 stone in weight, and it stabilised at that level. I did no more exercise than before and ate the same.
