or are we actually going to approach a manager in work who is doing well.Other clubs have when going for who they want.i.e wolves.

need the right manager now or division one a certainty.
    manager .....
who can hit the ground running ....Keith said he has learned a lot about championship football, now we need someone who knows championship football already without taking the club backwards and has knowledge of potential signings or loans.
.not forgetting using knowledge of some of current back-room staff to impart player attributes and limitations.

I was thinking Ronnie Moore. And then I realised that, with him doing well at Tranmere, and likely to be in the Championship next season, which we won't be, even Ronnie Moore is beyond us.

Only realistic shout is to keep Flicker or appoint Redfearn. Neither of which I want.

Flicker knows how to make the team lose most games. That's about it.

That's a little unfair IMO. I wouldn't particularly choose him but the previous failures have to fall on the manager. Flicker has won and lost since hill went, and there could be fresh ideas with Mellon on board. Formation has suggested he is willing to change things. Like I say he wouldn't be my choice but what if it is him or Blackwell? He isn't the worst candidate. If it Rosler for e.g. wouldn't the compo be better spent in a cb (maybe get monk in perm) and a striker. Get those and 1 or 2 more and we are not far off. Looks like flicker will be in place still for leeds game, if he wins that he could be here for rest of season. Have to say he would get my backing. Got to give him a chance, with mellon, as a new team.

With a bit of luck, Flicker would have won at Peterborough, and now have two wins under his belt. He's got Mellon and another guy asssisting, and has the respect of the players. The commitment against Posh (last game I saw) was absolutely 100%, and the tactics were a refreshing change. So for the moment, it wouldn't worry me to have Flicker in charge.

Each to their own mate. But by Hill's and Flitcroft's admission they were a team, so were both implicit in the failings this season. I don't think anything much will change under his sole stewardship. If he is set on until the end of the season then I hope I'm wrong.
