If you mean an English assembly in the same way as Scotland, then I can see the argument for that, but not regional ones within England (e.g. a Yorkshire assembly)

I have a point to make:

I once saw a lad piss himself in assembly at school.
He then asked for his Mum.
He was about 12 at the time.

I must also point out that it wasn't me.
The lad was a ginner - so he probably deserved it, or summat.

 

Depends on the powers allowed to the organisation. Perhaps real democracy is to be found at a more local level.

It is worrying re the Nationalists being in power in Scotland though and their stated aim to break up the union
