With no Jimbo, you would have to say Matty Done tbh. I hope so. He has mins in his legs now and lets hope he gets back to the level he showed before the hamstring went. Good pace. But like with Craig, the lad wont be fully fit after so long out, and I imagine he could be a little tentative when running/chasing etc. Its to be expected. Just hope people consider that before writing the lad off. These lads need our backing, not criticism after 1 poor game.
In fact, after tuesdays game Jimbo and JayMac made it clear that the crowd behind em makes a difference. Think Fozzy and Gray mentioned it somewhere too.
I sent Jay a tweet when I got in tuesday, saying well done, my MOTM. And he replied with:
@jaymcev03 ta mate! Enjoyed tonight! U lot helped us MASSIVELY!!
And he also admitted that last weekend they didnt deserve credit, but the boos dont help.. I believe them, and thats why I cheer at the game, not jeer. Be great if tuesdays atmosphere could be recreated over and over again.
Oh, and Butts is going nowhere. You have it on good authority, from Jimbo:
@theboyobrien he's not goin anywhere or I'll batter him, the wee f@nny!!

From what I can see from the re-runs on Player plus the Pompey match, Jay Mac is one of our most improved players under KH. Since the incident earlier this season when he was told that he was available for a loan move he seems to have really knuckled down. Still a little slow for my liking but seems to be involved in so many of the good things that we do when going forward. Has really surprised me as I have never been his biggest fan, but obviously I really hope that he keeps it up.
