Who seriously rates Ritchie as a manager??

and is he likely to be here for the long haul??

Me, look at our league position, been manager of the month, his signings have been a bit it and miss. But on the whole he's doing a good job with the resources he as .

 

cant agree with u there sambora. think he has done a good job so far and changing manager is not what we need, were still 7th in the league!! we need consistency certainly in terms of manager and we cant over react over a few below par performances. give the bloke time and support and i feel we will reap the benefits. all this cheap option crap is nonsense he got the job on merit due to our performances under him last season and i dont think anyone can question the job he's done so far.

 

I'm inclined to agree there mate

He has signed better players than Hart did but he dosen't seem to be able to motivate them or change formations that change games in our favour. He has been very lucky with results so far and i think today his luck ran out!

What gets me is the lack of proper professional coaching staff at the club, with a Physio running the Academy and Rick 'joker' Holden as the reserve coach/head physio/ assistant manager etc. Clubs with debts of £40 million are able to afford some decent coaching staff at least!!

look, every time we get a manager this is what happens

you give him six months and then its like an automatic reaction. Why do you think we've been in such states with the team. because people virtually boo a manager out straight away and then another comes and has to build from scratch and it happens again and again. Look at Warnock, has he got them promoted? has he won the cup? No but after years of hard work he is going to get the fans what they want because hes had the time and gained the expertise.</p>

I think he knows what he is doing. He is a nice person. Him and Rick Holden work well together and the team aren't that bad.
We have players off injured, players back from injury and new players all having to learn to play as a team.
In a few matches time (hopefully) this will have happened and we will be back up nearer the top of the division.

I still think we could be promoted.

Sure it may have been a cheap option but we could hardly afford a more expensive option could we?

Did you expect us to be in this position at the start of the season? I believe we are exceeding expectations and the manager surely has to be praised for that. I certainly rate him higher than Hart.

 

exactle, Its easy to see the problems or what could be improved but try finding the soultions.

the boo boys hammer BBB and demand a centre forward - he brings in Richards!

BFC - about as democratic a football club as you can get. To not rate Ritchie would be to admit our fans are sh*te and know FA...

 

With a decimated defence we lose to Port Vale by one goal and you think he's *****?

And after we came back into it second half due to the changes made at half time no less!

Ritchie has made some excellent signings with a minimal budget and we're in a league position far above where I expected we'd be at the beginning of the season. He's got my full support. I wonder if you have any to give.
