got my postal ballot paper and it only has three viable options on it.
Ones in power
Ones not likely to win the seat
And the other one is the fatha of someone I dont particularly like

I have... three Conservative and three Labour candidates, none of which I know owt about. I'm not a Labour or Conservative voter. Shall I bother? They say not voting is apathy but should I, an ignorant voter, really be clouding the vote for people who it maybe really matters to?
I've got... Labour (doesn't live in ward and is campaigning against driving schools in the area!) Green Party Lib Dem (evil old witch who is also campaigning against driving schools in the area!) Conservatives (doesn't live in ward and is a Tory) Oh joy!
Labour are already out. It's all Lib Dem in Newcastle. They're all useless and I don't have to vote to stop the BNP in my ward so there's not really any point.
Whichever you'd want to win - even if that's the candidate unlikely to win. Didn't realise until the other day that I'm away when it's election day - could have applied for a postal ballot had I realised earlier.
They don't like young people or people who are seeking to improve themselves. Apparently driving schools are a "massive problem", the four letters I got from them last week about it told me so. I'm going to write back with a list of things that really don't bother me at all so that next time their campaign isn't about the average number of leaves on trees in our ward or something similar. Last time it was a campaign against students.
