He shouldnt have been given the job in the first place. If we sack him hell be replaced by Ronnie Branston.

A director of football would be the answer, because at the moment Mr Shepherd is directing football. An experienced manager is now required with a good knowledge of the game. One who has been there and done it all. It is more than apparent that Simon is out of his depth and needs the help.

    I would also add

That the board should keep Simon and let him develop under an experienced man. He can only gain from this in the end. At the moment he could end up with the sack eventually, which could be the end of his career. This way he could one day become a 'good manager'

The thing with Davey is that he is stubborn, and to me this will take us down. He has brought in players that he thought would be better than the ones under Ritchie. Most of the players brought in are not up to the required standard. I know that it takes time for new players to settle in, but after only a couple of games most fans can see who will go on to make a decent player. You don't have to be an expert to see this. I think he wants to prove a point that his players will some how get us up the table, and the old players will not be welcome, and he wants to ship them out as quickly as possible.

Hayes in particular, Nardiello, Togwell, Heckingbottom, Kay, Tongue, most of these players got us promoted, ok they all have their off days. But to cast these players aside, for lower league players and for players on loan, who will return to their parent clubs with little concern whether Barnsley stay up or not. So Mr Davey bring these old players back in to the team, and with the two Hungarians who we can see have a bit of talent ( when match fit) may have the drive , passion, skill and concern that they want to keep Barnsley in this league. It's going to be very difficult, but if he can create the team spirit that got us promoted, get back the dressing room and not be so subborn in his team selections and pick the BEST players that we have available, then we still have a chance, if only a slight one. IMHO. (clap)
