Yup, it was Adam, well deserved for what he has done since his return. Great day today for everyone at, or supporters of the Club; I just got back home (in Wiltshire) loads of Yellow shirts on the train-good banter and they thought the best team won ("we took our eye off the ball at halftime and lost the game from there"). Oxford were great opponents and will do well in the 1st I think. YOU REDS!!!!
Hammill got it and it was the right choice for setting up the own goal and scoring a belter. Now he's got to take that kind of performance into games against teams at the same level as us because he hasn't for a fair while.
George Williams had a really good game at full back again and deserves a mention.... Out in the cold after chesterfield so how he's come back this season is nothing short of miraculous! Fair play to the lad....
I think we all need to play Donnytykes wind up game, I'll start...I can't believe Hammill gets a shirt. What did he actually do today? :-D
That save by Davies in the second half at 2-1 I know it took a deflection but he ought to be catching them....
Chapman going for glory in the 96th minute, when all he had to do was square it for a tap in. What a lovely person. Send him back.
I didn't hear it either the sound system was totally carp where we were but I'd have been astounded if it hadn't been Hammill.
What did he do today? I'm guessing he's taken the mrs and kids out somewhere, had his feet up watching TV and been replying to dozens of texts and calls on his mobile saying how well he did yesterday
Don't think they announced it over the sound system, just on the big screen. Sent from my I-Oven using the internets
Hammil was good very good but hourihane ran the show best player on the pitch. Turned into a great all round midfielder.
