Definitely wasn't Chris Foy.

Generally I don't think the ref was that bad. The Togwell booking was odd, but he didn't make too many controversial decisions, particularly under vociferous pressure infront of the Brum fans when they appealed for handball.

hardly gave us anything. he was definatly protecting the bigger team.

how many times did howard get fouled and nothing was given.

he was very poor in my opinion the ref, but we won so who cares.

    According to Official Site

it was Mike Russell from Hertfordshire - have to say I've never heard of him.

Must have been a late replacement cos Chris Foy was definitely down for it on the FL site earlier in the week.

Defo not Foy but whoever he was he was crap. He didnt blow for anything. The amount of fouls and players climbing he missed was ridiculous.

Thought he did all right. Got most decisions right but a few wrong. Togwell booking was not strange after all he had warned him twice for overexuberance, so it was to be expected. Persistent fouling is an offence. With regards to Howard I felt that he went down too easy once or twice but soon got up when he didn't get awarded a foul and that speaks volumes.

Togwell appeared to be booked for dissent...

He was on his final warning for alleged persistent fouling.
