I don't think that Spackman was that bad to be honest, yes he made some dreadful **** ups but he at least tried to sign good players such as Gorre and Hayward but he just couldn't manage them.

Parkin was definatley the worst by far, the man was a lovely person!
Who in their right minds would give away South African international Eric Tinkler and replace him with Gary fecking Jones and wasted £400,000 on him on a 4 year contract. Not forgetting Mike Flynn, Paul Gibbs and fecking Lumsden. That guy finished us off.

So why all the feelings of rage and violence towards Spackman, was he really that bad and in your opinions what went wrong for him because he did alright when he first came!!

Parkin by a mile and a half. Spackman at least tried to get us to play good football. It was a pity his strikers wre incompetents,

    Brilliant........

Spackman was 'not that bad' in your opinion but Ritchie is tactically inept and should have been sacked.

Spackman was one of the major reasons this club is where it is FACTAFECKINGMUNDO. He should never be allowed near a football team again.

I admit that I wanted Spackman and i am still shocked by how bad it got, i was at Hillsborough the night he was sacked and the club was reduced to a rubbble, i was appauled beyond belief at how bad we actually played, but i just can't put my finger on why it turned into a nightmare that took us 5 years to recover from, he always seemed like a young knowlegable talented coach but i was wrong and i can't understand why!

    RE: Brilliant........

Ritchie until the second half on Monday night i had always thought of as very Parkinesque in his management style, he doesn't seem to have a tactical brian cell in his head but he did something to them at half time on mondy night and i worked a treat so he deserves alot of credit for that!!

He has HUGE game next week though lets hope he gets it right!!!

    Spackmoid.

I hate him. I hate him. I hate him.

The reason that Parkin had to sign a load of old shít is because Spackmoid had spent all the money. Parkin was hamstrung by that, and had to cut his cloth accordingly.

I want to throw a brick through the telly when I see Spacko's smug face on Sky. lovely person.

    Spackman by a million miles

I hurl abuse at the screen every time he appears on Sky pontificating about all and sundry-only beaten by Hodges as all time worst-and Hodges had no money-Spackman frittered it away-Gorre? crocked-and at one point we had 13 midfielders signed up-my guess is he was trying to find one that played like himself!!

I agree Spackman,in my opinion the worst manager in the history of our football club.To coin a phrase from Pete Doyle 'he should wear bells round his neck so people can hear him coming'.

Yet again i got torn to piecesfor warning against Spackman

You only had to listen to him as a TV pundit to work out he didnt know what he was talking about.
