Who will be on the release list.

Is it only players out of contract or do they sometimes pay a players contract up?

Dont think we have a lot of players on our books that we need to move players on but maybe Bird, Mottley Henry, Jackson, Adebejo a couple of the U23s?

If not released who may be moved on like Mallan and Knasmulner last season?

Any surprises due?

 

At a guess, and it’s only speculation here mind, I would say whom ever the manager and board don’t have plans for.

I missed Fryers and Hedges off the list they are more likely to go aswell.

As shown with Moncur and Isgrove if they dont or cant play as Stendel wants then they will be moved on.
Id say with Mr Conway at the helm we will be ruthless this year in who is retained and released.

Not a negative thread this at all its hopefully now is the next step of what the new owners came here to do which is take this club on to be able to legitimately complete in the championship.

Think most of those will be out on loan rather than released. Adeboyajo wasn't a top end league 1 forward, but could likely do a job for somebody.

 

I think it’s fairly straight forward this year, apart from Davies.

It’s more of a case who’s gonna come in.

I think any 1st team players who haven’t featured much this season will be cleared out if not deemed good enough - their value being the decider between released or listed.

The starting 11 will still be here if in contract still or not sold for good money.

The academy youth coming through will be here - Some will go out on loan though.

Hedges is the only query for me currently.

Any options in favour of the club will be taken if the player will play for us or have a good resale value. Cavare will be signed, Isgrove won’t be (think he had an option too).
