    seriously I think Foster will probably keep it for the time being he is a quality championship player I think sometimes he is made to look worse since Moore gets left behind and he's facing both forwards alone.

    I don't think a Captain's job on the pitch is what it used to be, or we a lacked a proper leader over the last few years.

    Has Steve Foster been a quality championship player this season, not from where i sit mate.
    He as been absolutley shocking,and so has the rest of the defence.

    Foster had a great season the first season he joined us, player of the year and it was well deserved, but previously he was the captain of Crewe who got relegated, Moore was in the heart of defence at Derby , who got relegated, El Hamouir got relegated with with the Swiss side he was playing for , and Tony Mowbray never rated Luke Steele and couldn't wait to get rid. So we have a defence lacking heart to keep their previous teams afloat, and we are left with them.

    If Robins comes in he should make either Hallfredsson or O Neil Thompson the new Captain, and try to bring in a new defence and a goal keeper. Other than that he will take over a team that isn't good enough at the moment to be in the championship, who can't play football, who can't win a league game and a squad who wants a big kick up their arses to earn their vast wages. Will Mark Robins put a gentle arm around the players and kiss them good night. Lets hope not, good luck Mark Robins in your new job, you will certainly need it.

    And what as ONeil Thompson done to deserve the captaincy? Foster is the man to captain the club and will keep the band.

    When i saw Thompson playing against Man City he organized the mid- field, he organized the defence and he had more shout in the ninety minutes that he was on the field than Foster has done since he became our captain.

    Time for a change, Foster hasn't got the pesonality or the nous to keep his captaincy

    But that was one game, a friendly, against a Man City side playing in second gear. Lets see him in the rough and tumble of the championship before we judge his true credentials.

    Maybe not but i think a new manager will get the best out of him again. I hope so anyway becuase at his best he is a quality player.
