    I dont understand why Alan Curbishleys name keeps coming up. Stuart Pearce all the way for me.(england)

    i think hed wan to stay at City becasue hes only just started their. If he was assisatnt he could keep his city job whilst being involved with England. But if he doesnt want to stay at city Pearce for me.

    Hasn't got the experience yet. Even he reckons that. Have him as assistant to someone else, so he can learn on the job. Not 'on the job' though, you understand.

    What shouldn't Curbishley's name come up?
    He's done a quality job at Charlton over the years. They have consistantly over achieved with a small budget and average players.
    I wouldn't go for Allardyce...he'll have us chucking long throws in from the half way line.

    I only want Pearce because i think after having Sven for so long the players need motivating.

    They don't need motivating to play for their country...they shouldn't anyway. It's quite clearly not all about passion and motivation as Kevin Keegan has proven.
