btt From todays postings it would appear that the answer is obvious but I thought i'd bump it anyway

Easy Decision Andy Ritchie for a stubborn blind belief and blinkered attitude towards experienced players.....
I'm puzzled mate. Why do you so firmly believe that AR is refusing money to strengthen his squad rather than the other, more plausible, explanation?
I'm also puzzled He appeared to be saying that the fans will turn on AR first yet he didnt vote that way.

RE: I'm puzzled mate. Ritchie feels that he can mold the younger side to his way of play,He has had dressing room problems at Oldham with "seasoned pros" and i feel along with Lodgie at the chron that he does not like confrontation and likes to have things done his way. I firmly believe that he will be given so much time by GS to try his way of play with the squad he has, but if things dont pick up by the end of December i will not be at all suprised if we start to see some kind of fallout at the club. The fact that he did so well last season on a shoestring will only give him so much time and then i think GS & PC will step in. In respect of additional moneies, PC has stated amounts and with GS has also suggested players but all the players which have been put forward have been over the age of 28 and Ritchie truly believes that older experienced players may disrupt the moral of his squad, he has stated in public that the "closeness" of the squad is his priorty on the field, therefore on a disriptive point of view if you got a loud mouth nut case who was a 30 goal a season player and over 28 then ritchie would not sign him, and by the way Windass was PCs idea and finanmces not Ritchies
What was done about the players that AR wanted to sign? Surely its the manager who should be picking the players to sign.
If he was just a coach then fair enough , but he isnt.
