Given what has happened with Yids the last couple of days who would pick him today?

    In my opinion we cannot go into a Championship fixture with a back four of;

    McCarthy
    Angus
    Jackson or Pinnock
    Pearson

Having said that Yiadom was awful on Tuesday and played his part in a defence that was beyond woeful.

My understanding is the Yiadom deal is on hold because we didn't have time to get a replacement registered for today.

With that in mind he may start. I'm not sure that a good thing though.

Interesting. I would be inclined to play him because I believe he's the best we have got in that position currently.

If he does leave would be interesting to see if a specialist left back comes in to pressure Zeki.

Yes but he'd be under no illusions what the consequences would be if he didn't give 100%.

Of course. We are paying him so why wouldn't we play him.

Hecky may have already made up his mind and announced the squad to the players yesterday after training.......

If he's going to have a stormer it's going to be while he's looking for a move

That wasn't the case on Tuesday night.

If it's true that the deal is only on hold because we didn't get a replacement sorted then surely it would be crazy to play him. He's presumably going to want to ensure nothing happens that might get in the way of his massive pay rise.

But there are no consequences to trying to get a move in the public eye on Ssn? What's the message to the rest of the squad? "Do what you want we are too desperate to take any action"

There should be but I'd deal with them separately. If he has breached his contract then I would fine him.

Normally I would say hang him out to dry but not sure Pearson has been at the club long enough to take that role at the moment. Only really MacDonald was part of the back four from last season and Jackson if he plays instead of Pinnock. That in itself is a dilemma unless we play big Gus and Pearson as Centre Backs and he can shift across to either dull pack position if needed and is then at least tuned in to the pace of the match.

No wouldn't have him near 1st team, been shocking these 2 games so his head been turned. Not going to go in for 50/50 tackles knowing it could knacker a move away up is he ?

He was superb in the friendly I saw. I trust Hecky to make the right decision.

He was part of a disastrous defence on Tuesday night compounded by the fact he kept pulling out of tackles so no, he wouldn't play for me.

He did ok against Huddersfield in the pre season match as he was out to impress but hasn't looked the same since.
